The groundwork for what has become Sure-Fire Entertainment was laid over 20
years ago, when my love for music, stereo equipment, and working with kids grew
into a small DJ setup.
In the summers I
played music at Backyard BBQ’s, Community Centers and the City Pools to help give young
people a positive alternative to the allure of the streets.The success and exposure from those events led
to more opportunities to play for School Dances, Graduation Parties, Fraternity
and Sorority Parties, as well as producing Mix Tapes.
At the time, working full-time as an urban youth
ministry director, I realized I could make a nice supplemental income doing
something I loved, and thus my own company, 2Tuff Productions was born.I began to expand on my experience by promoting and producing Special Events and Concerts that would raise money to benefit
the young people and the communities I was serving.
A move to Tampa Bay, FL in 1993 gave me a larger market
to operate in, and I began to focus on Weddings and Corporate Events.As before in Texas, word-of-mouth was my best
marketing tool, and my reputation for being dependable, possessing
state-of-the-art professional equipment, and having a huge library of all music
genres spread.
In 2007, I moved my family back to Lubbock, TX –where it
all started.I have changed the name of
my company to Sure-Fire to reflect the quality and dependable service
I provide.
I now primarily specialize in
providing detailed planning and music for Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions.I look forward to working with you and making
your special day or event a positively memorable one.
